Nevertheless, it was a major event as the conference also included the famous ‘Best of Africa’ awards ceremony by Forbes. Forbes in partnership with FIN (Foreign Investment Network) presented the annual ‘Best of Africa’ awards to deserving candidates with significant and long-standing contributions towards the economic and social development of African nations.

Dr. Mahtani was bestowed with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ for his contributions towards the Zambian corporate and industry as well as redefining the financial and banking sector of Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is known for transforming his company, Mahtani Group of Industries, into one of the biggest conglomerates across Zambia. He is also known for his charitable and philanthropic contributions.
