Dr. Rajan Mahtani recently supported a critical announcement made by the President of Zambia. President Hakainde Hichilema recently made a bold statement in which he stated that he is planning to abolish death penalty law. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has completely supported this decision. Adding his voice to this cause, Dr. Mahtani stated that he and his company Prison Fellowship Zambia pledge their full support towards abolishing death penalty. The organization will also support the President by evaluating tangible & legal reforms.
Prison Fellowship Zambia is a noted Christian Outreach Program in Zambia which was established more than three decades ago. The focus of the organization is bringing the teachings and gospel from Almighty Jesus Christ to the inmates, ex-inmates as well as their families in Zambia. This will be achieved by advocating effective and fair criminal justice process in Zambia. The announcement by President Hichilema came on Africa day and it is received overwhelming positive reactions.
